- PreviewIl s'avère important d'assurer la qualité de la formation médicale afin d'assurer l'accès présent et futur à des soins de bonne qualité, et ce, pour tous les Canadiens; toutefois, l'autonomie des patientes se doit d'être respectée dans le cadre de toutes les interactions cliniques et pédagogiques. Lorsqu'un étudiant en médecine participe aux soins offerts à une patiente, celle-ci se doit d'être avisée des rôles qu'assumera l'étudiant en question et doit fournir son consentement. La participation de la patiente à quelque aspect que ce soit de la formation médicale doit être volontaire et non discriminatoire.
