A 75-year-old multigravid woman in good general health presented with difficulty voiding.
She was found to have a mobile soft sub-clitoral mass adherent to the pubic symphysis.
MRI demonstrated a well-circumscribed partially solid and cystic 3.2 cm mass with
features compatible with a subpubic cartilaginous cyst
(Figure 1). The mass was surgically excised, and dissection down to the periosteum of the pubic
symphysis was required (Figure 2). Histopathological evaluation confirmed the diagnosis of a subpubic cartilaginous
cyst.
